The screening of KÖY by Serpil Turhan was realized in the context of the Beyond Home exhibition at the Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien. A Q&A session was followed by the screening of the film with the director Serpil Turjan, moderated by filmmaker, scholar and film curator Viola Shafik. The conversation encompassed topics such as imaginary homes, belonging and gender and national identities.
